King of Glory Jerusalem Hosts Healing Service with Kirk DuBois

Last Saturday, the King of Glory Jerusalem congregation welcomed a familiar guest. Kirk DuBois, a minister with 55 years of experience, a representative of RHEMA Bible Training College in the United States, and founder of Harvest International, has visited the congregation before. Each time he comes, something in the room seems to shift.

From Addiction to Faith: Kirk’s Story

Kirk began by sharing something deeply personal. Growing up in California, he was involved in crime, occult practices, and heavy drug use. One night on Laguna Beach, while going through withdrawal, he cried out to God:

“God, if You are real, let someone who believes in You come and talk to me right now.”

That same evening, a stranger came out of the crowd, took his hand, and prayed for him.

“I was filled with this deep, overwhelming peace, unlike anything I had ever felt before,” Kirk recalled. “Later that night, my friends and I used a powerful drug, but it had no effect on me whatsoever. It was as if it had lost its power against the peace that had already entered my heart.”

That night changed everything. Kirk gave his life to God, left drugs and the criminal world behind, and never looked back. Over the next fifty years, he would go on to minister in 57 countries.

God’s Promises Do Not Have an Expiration Date

At the heart of Kirk’s message was a simple truth: God does not postpone His promises.

“When you buy milk at the store, there is a date on the carton. After that, it expires. But the Bible does not have an expiration date. If it says that by the wounds of Jesus we are healed, then God has not changed His mind. That promise is alive and active today.”

He also spoke about guilt – the kind people can carry for years. Jesus, he said, did not come merely to forgive sins. He came to bring healing, freedom from shame, and release from self-condemnation.

Prayer for the People

Kirk was deeply aware of what Israel has been through in recent years. He prayed specifically for those who had experienced loss, combat, trauma, fear, and emotional pain.

“If you are suffering from depression, fear, or emotional pain, place your hand on your head. I pray that you receive peace and healing in your mind and in your heart.”

He also invited those with heart conditions to come forward and prayed for their physical restoration. Throughout the service, people prayed for one another. Many shared that they had experienced relief from chronic back and joint pain.

The service closed with a blessing over the congregation and over everyone watching the live stream from around the world.
