Faith and Healing: Kirk DuBois at King of Glory Jerusalem

Last Friday, our community was honored to host Minister Kirk DuBois, a teacher from Rhema Bible College and the founder of Harvest International Ministry from the USA. In his address, Kirk spoke on the topic of “Faith for Healing,” which proved to be a profound inspiration to all in attendance.

Kirk DuBois began his sermon by emphasizing that true faith is built on the solid foundation of righteousness. He explained that righteousness, which comes from God through faith in Jesus Christ, allows believers to stand before God without guilt or shame. “It is impossible to believe God for healing if you think He is angry with you or punishing you with sickness,” Kirk emphasized.

Special attention was given to Ezekiel’s prophecy of the dry bones. Kirk noted that this prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes: Israel is being gathered together again, and believers from all over the world are bringing life and the breath of the Holy Spirit to God’s people.

The central message of the sermon was the assertion that sickness can never be God’s will for a person. Kirk vividly highlighted the absurdity of the claim that God sends illnesses to spiritually perfect people: “If that were the case, why would sick people seek to be healed by doctors?”

The minister reminded us that Christ fully fulfilled the law on our behalf, taking upon Himself the sins and sicknesses of humanity, becoming on the cross the “curse of the law,” which included all diseases, known and unknown. The resurrection of Christ confirmed His victory over death and sickness, providing believers with the right to complete healing.

Kirk DuBois’ sermon resonated deeply with the listeners. Many noted that their faith was strengthened, and their understanding of God’s love became deeper and clearer.

Kirk has visited our community before, and each of his visits has been an inspiring event for our congregation, strengthening each person’s faith in the limitless possibilities of God’s healing and grace.
